WGSN Digital Presentation Award – London College of Fashion
BFC Fashion Illustration Award in association with Fashion Monitor – University of Westminster

Salford University received a special mention from the judging panel for the level of visual representation and styling they demonstrated.

The 25 exhibiting colleges submitted portfolios to be judged by a panel of industry experts. The judging panel, headed by Chair of the Colleges Council Anne Tyrrell, also included Adam Kelly (Buying Manager, Selfridges), Hannah White (Editor, Fashion Monitor), Jacqui Ma (Senior Editor Footwear and Accessories, WGSN) and Marios Schwab.

The annual Graduate Preview Day provides member colleges from the BFC Colleges Council with the opportunity to showcase their graduating students’ work to industry professionals.

As part of the day, a panel of industry professionals chaired by Anne Tyrrell, present awards in the following three categories

• The ‘Fashion Monitor Colleges Portfolio Award’ in association with the British Fashion Council. 
  The winner receives two one year subscriptions for their best students to Fashion Monitor, the industry’s leading provider of contacts, news and events.
  
  
• The ‘WGSN Digital Presentation Award’ in association with the British Fashion Council.
  The winning college receives a WGSN subscription.
  
  
• The BFC Illustration Award in association with Fashion Monitor.
  The winner receives two one year subscriptions which will allow the graduating students access to key industry contacts, something which is invaluable for breaking into the industry. 

This year, the Graduate Preview Day was held at The May Fair Hotel, London.
