Hærværk (danish for vandalism) is a young contemporary and progressive fashion label. It is a cult of goofy and naive boys wandering the streets of the dewy and cold fairytale city of Copenhagen. Hærværk is a story of lost kids hanging out by the industrial docks with nothing but vandalism on the agenda. Their uniforms is metamorphorsed by the oil sea, wet asphalt and the rusty containers that litter the Danish sea front.
With a mix of popular culture and simplified Lego caricature Hærværk is completed as a young and dynamix clothing brand.
Niels Gundtoft, the lead designer, grew up in Denmark and is imbuing the collections with a Nordic identity. Hansen studied at London's prestigious Royal College of Art. His 2016 graduate collection esteemed the Only The Brave award at ITS - The Intanational talent contest in Trieste Italy.
Marie Munk, as well a danish graduate from RCA, became partner in Hærværk summer 2017. With a background in fine arts and exceptional pattern cutting skills she is conceptually bringing the Hærværk posture into reality.
